Tammy Abraham’s Liverpool hint

Tammy Abraham has sparked speculation he could be set for a transfer to Liverpool following an exchange with Trent Alexander-Arnold

Roma striker Tammy Abraham has hinted at a potential transfer switch to Liverpool this summer following comments he has made on international duty. The former Chelsea forward, who has been heavily linked with interest from Arsenal, is currently with the England squad for the UEFA Nations League fixtures with Germany, Italy and Hungary in the next ten days.

After an England training session ahead of Saturday’s 1-0 draw defeat away to Hungary, Abraham stopped and shook hands with Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold. In the video clip, Abraham appeared to say to Alexander-Arnold: “I’m joining you guys next season.”

Abraham has enjoyed the form of his career so far with Roma, where he has quickly become their first-choice striker under Jose Mourinho and one of the Italian top flight’s most prolific players.

The 24-year-old London-born star ended the campaign as a European Conference League champion and with 27 goals in all competitions, while his tally of 17 Serie A goals saw him break the record for the most scored by an English player in a single season in Italy.

Abraham hasn’t looked back since his £34million move to the Italian capital and now could be set for a quick return to the English top flight
