It’s fair to say it has been a bumpy but glorious road since…
The Good
✔️ Saved our club from potential administration
✔️ Got rid of greedy Hicks and Gillette
✔️ Hired Jurgen Klopp
✔️ Redevelopment of Anfield. What a stadium is it now
✔️ Established the AXA training facility
✔️ Signed Alisson & Virgil van Dijk
✔️ Signed Mane & Salah
✔️ Increased revenue and no debt. Club is in the best position ever on and off the pitch
✔️ Won several trophies including first Premier league title
✔️ Jurgen Klopp contract extension
✔️ Salah’s new contract til 2025
The Bad
❌ Tried to raise ticket prices
❌ Tried to trademark “Liverpool”
❌ Tried to establish a Super League
❌ Tried to Furlough staff
❌ Neglected playing squad because they didn’t want to spend out
Not a bad 12 years, but i think its time they stepped aside. Liverpool FC as a club has out grown them. We need bigger investment to compete with the likes of Oil rich Manchester City. Money FSG are reluctant to part with.
Realistically, Liverpool is a perfect club to buy. No debt, best manager in the world, a renovated stadium, a new training ground and a squad with lots of quality and youngsters. We need around £300m worth of investment in the next year to be back at the top.
A very attractive prospect indeed. Interesting times ahead
