Liverpool are currently going through a midfield crisis one game into the new season, as Thiago Alcantara joins the injury list already consisting of fellow midfielders Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlai and Naby Keita.
The club have been linked with a number of players this transfer window, but have yet to address the area they came into it as a priority target.
After the signings of Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay, the club stated that their incoming transfers were done for the summer. However, are they going to be forced into a midfield signing following Thiago’s latest injury?

Klopp probably wasn’t planning on moving for another midfielder this summer but the German boss may be forced to after the injury to Thiago. Klopp is sure to avoid signing a short-term solution if he can help it.
