With 15 minutes remaining, Arsenal was awarded a harsh penalty. Saka beating Alisson from the spot to put the Gunners in the lead for the third time in the match.
Liverpool will feel hard done by after witnessing a handball for a penalty at the other end waved away in the first half.
A disappointing result with the second league defeat of this campaign. We are now 14 points off the top of the league having played one game less. 10 points gained and 14 points dropped. It has not been a pretty league campaign so far.
The reds’ form this term is concerning especially with a trip Man City next week.
